That’s why a growing number of successful Amazon retailers and brands choose to continue advertising their products even when selling on Amazon 1P (“first party”).
Selling on Amazon 1P simply means that a retailer or brand sells their products wholesale to Amazon, and Amazon sets the prices and sells those products on the Amazon marketplace. From the consumer’s point of view, Amazon is the “seller” of the product.
The alternate approach of 1P is a 3P (third party) strategy, where retailers or brands sell their own products on Amazon, set their own pricing and handle the end-to-end transaction.
